One of the goals of Adam's Thoughts is to help people with obsessive-compulsive disorder feel less alone. Many people living with OCD believe that nobody understands what they are experiencing. By sharing our stories, we can help others realize that they are not alone.

If you would like to share your OCD experience, recovery journey, treatment story, challenges, or lessons learned, you may submit your story below for possible publication.

Stories may be published anonymously or using initials only. If your story is selected for publication, minor spelling, grammar, and formatting corrections may be made while preserving your original message.

Before You Submit

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Please do not include graphic details that may be commonly triggering to readers.
  • Please do not include descriptions of illegal activities.
  • Please do not include full names, phone numbers, addresses, or personal identifying information.
  • You may request removal of your story at any time after publication.
  • Submission does not guarantee publication.
  • Stories may be edited for spelling, grammar, formatting, and readability.
